A Mirror Shattered #166 - "I Don't Want to Get Up!"

<On>

<Sickbay, USS Pegasus>

After having snuggled with Ryylar for a few hours, Kristiana decided to check on O'Driscoll. She was worried about her tactical officer, and although no evidence of an assassination attempt had been found, she still simply wanted Hannah to get well and return to duty again. They were still in the mirror universe, and they needed a good tactical officer. So she wandered into Sickbay, yawning and stretching a bit, frowning, heading towards Hannah's biobed.

She sighed softly, tilting her head a bit, watching Hannah. ".. You've got all sorts of bad luck, hon .. No girl as pretty as you should have to fight against all that." as she reached over to caress Hannah's cheek. She really did consider the tactical officer to be a beautiful woman.

Hannah's eyes slowly opened as she felt the touch on her cheek. "Who..." She looked around in confusion.

"Goodmorning, sleepyhead." Petrova smirked, folding her arms over eachother. "How are you feeling ? We were worried, all of us. Your friend Sulan most of all."

"I'm just fine." Hannah said, rubbing her eyes. "What happened? Was I poisoned?"

"No." Kristiana sighed. "You seem to be allergic to Gagh. Can't say that surprises me, though - that stuff would kill anyone 'cept a klingon."

"Well, that's good to know." Hannah said, smiling wryly. "Saves embarrassment later. How long was I out?"

"Let's see .. Half a day, about." Petrova sighed softly. "I'll be frank, Hannah. I want you back on duty, soon as you feel up to it."

"Well, give me ten minutes and a bathroom, and I'm your woman." Hannah grinned, sliding off the biobed.

She looked down at the gown she was wearing. "I may need a uniform, also."

"Not so fast, Lieutenant." She stopped Hannah. "All good and well, but you're not going anywhere till the doctor clears you. So, you go and see him first, before reporting to the bridge, alright ?"

"Well that's no fun." She sat down again. "What is going on out there, just out of interest?"

"Nothing." Petrova admitted. ".. Yet. But I'm expecting LaBrie back any moment, and I have a feeling that something is about to happen. Something .. Big."

"Sounds ominous." Hannah said, frowning. "Is...Sulan still in the brig?"

"Yeah." Kristiana nodded. "I gave her an option, you know. Sit in the brig, or be free, but off duty, and without a weapon. She considered that option an insult, and decided to go back to the brig." She sighed, shaking her head a bit. "Bloody stubborn Vulcan .. If she'd chosen freedom, that would have been a sign, you know, and we'd have been much more likely to reinstate her, after a trial period. But now ?"

Hannah frowned. "Why would she...I don't understand. Maybe if I talked to her."

"Be my guest." Petrova nodded. "We need someone who knows what they're doing - these maggots of her need a strong iron hand to guide them. I could, but frankly, I've got other things to do."

"You want me to take over Security as well for now?" Hannah asked.

"No. I want Sulan to act as advisor to the security team." Kristiana explained. "I need you on tactical."

Hannah nodded. "Makes sense."

"So. Get cleared by the doctor, put on a uniform, then go talk to Sulan." Kristiana smiled a bit. "After that, report to the bridge .. Glad to see you're ok, Hannah."

"Thank you, Ma'am." Hannah said. "It's a pleasure to be back."
